SPECTRAL FUSION
Spectral Fusion is an experimental audio processing algorithm that generates new sonic materials by merging the spectral characteristics of multiple sound sources. Rather than crossfading or morphing between sounds, the algorithm reconstructs hybrid timbres that inherit structural qualities from each source while forming entirely new acoustic identities. Developed as an ongoing research project, Spectral Fusion explores the creative potential of spectral analysis and resynthesis as a compositional process, enabling the design of sounds that cannot be obtained through conventional synthesis or sampling.
