Rêverie

ethereal sounds & a powerful message. An imaginary of female voices, harmonics and the depths of sonic resistance. A piece about creating imaginaries of resitance through the embodiment and resignification of the female voice

En mi piel resuena tu lucha
(On my skin echoes your fight)

A collaboration between Radio UNAM's program Violeta y Oro, using archival soundscapes from the 8th of March protests in Mexico City- A solemn, yet agitated tide of voices chanting about women's rights and gender equality. Luminiscent tones that glide on a pool of shimmering resonance, and undulating textures.

Dreamy pads, lush evolving echoes and a safe space for reflection about identity and sound.

Subtle waves of melancholic ambience that filter into a prism of dreamy tones. Piano mechanics with large sustains and whimsical pads.

Crystal sounds with a touch of softness and enchanting soundscapes. Meditative and bright, a paradox evolves from within the sharp edges of sonic surfaces and soft resonance.

Patterned, poli-rhythmic soundscape to reminiscence upon places and people. Washed out melodies and irregular tones. The memory thrives, the phantoms resurge within melodic auras.

Experimental, innocent and playful. Orchestral samples, piano and a bit of violin. A first take on musical structures and language. Pure and delicate.
